Dancing Queen *solved*

I saw this film about 10 years ago on UK terrestrial tv (Channel 4 i think).

The plot ran as follows: A guy was about to get married and his friends made him a stag-night party (like all good mates do). Then 1 friend introduces him to a call-girl (prostitute) as a "pre-wedding" present. They obviously go off and have fun, but he falls for her. Even after he gets married there are various scenes of them together (sex scenes - but this was NOT a porno), including one i recall by a swimming pool. Then his wife spies them, and goes off to his best friend as a sort of revenge.



Any ideas i'd be greatful.

Does his future wife see them together? I recall Mayall and Bonham Carter being stuck together in some grey seaside resort?

Scarborough. They dance together at the open-air ballroom, if I remember it correctly.

Though I don't think the description from the requestor matches this programme.

I'm sure this is, as Smudge said, the 1993 tv movie: Dancing Queen. The stripper was played by Helena Bonham Carter, and the bridegroom by Rik Mayall.
