The Long Haul *solved*

I remeber seeing this fim on Television many years ago. It was in black and white.

My recollections may not be accurate but as I remember a man is hired to drive a lorry (flat bed 50's vintage ridgid - 6 or 8 wheeler) with a load of furs on it, to a smal port in Scotland. He becomes aware that he is mixed up in crime, but needs the money, road blocks mean that the only way he can complete the journey is by driving across country.

I should be grateful if anyone can name this film, and even perhaps tell me if it is available.

It is not available commercially but you can get a good dvd-r off ebay for about a fiver.
