It's an odd one - the last story with Stuart Whitman I found really creepy (as creepy as anything in these omnibus horrors). The vampire story was funny and the first was a bit rubbish.

Suppose it's worth it just to see Vincent Price and John Carradine together in the linking material and the 'stripper' made me laugh...

Yes, you could slot the Whitman tale into just about any of the anthology movies, it is very creepy indeed. Has a great atmosphere and is easily the highpoint of an otherwise dull movie.

I do agree though that Price and Carradine are great together and the stripper sequence is a hoot. I do like Price's little speech at the end too

Not sure if anyone can help me with this but here goes. I'm trying to find the tile of a horror film. I think it was possibly made by Hammer and was from the 70's ish. The only part I remember is from the end. I remember a village wehre time appears to have stopped and the whole area is surround by mist and there are monsters who look human. I think there are two or three different types of monsters. I remember a woman at the end running away trying to escape. She escapes through the mist and arrives at a dual carriageway. She flags down a passing police car and is given a lift. She thinks she is safe but is driven back to the village by the police. The last scene I remember is one of the policeman turning round to her telling her she is safe and smiling and having a mouth full of sharp teeth.

Can anyone put my mind at rest please?

    Thanks

    Foseco

It sounds like The Monster Club and its a man that is given a lift back to the village by the police and he thinks he is saved but a girl from the village helped him escape to begin with but she is killed by the villages as she flees.
