Hope someone can shed some light on this. They sound GREAT!.
hello all,
I remember my primary school class at school being shown two very gory films:
One highlighting the dangers of trespassing on building sites and in derelict houses. For instance: live electric wires falling into a young boys face, and in a different scene; another child stepping on a very large nail sticking out of a piece of wood. Cue lots of tomato sauce spurting out of his the top of his shoe! Nasty stuff.
The other was a very involved film about railway vandalism. The bit that really sticks in my mind is when a group of kids are split into two teams, a yellow team and a blue team, and given rocks, painted their team colours, to throw through train windows. Points were scored by causing horrific injuries to passengers (of which there were many!)
Can anyone else remember being subjected to these films? Do you know what they're called?
Cheers
Jason

The railway vandalism film is a British Transport Film called The Finishing Line discussed on the Ask a Film Question section.
You'll get most of them on the "Charley Says" DVD
many thanks for the info.
"the finishing line" & "building sites bite" is what they're called.
i don't think they've been released on anything offically.
i've found the first part of "the finishing line" on youtube, but no more.
if anyone could help me get me get hold of copies somehow, it would be much appreciated.
