Straw Dogs *solved*

Hi everyone,



I was hoping someone could shed some light on a movie I'm trying to find. It's about a couple that move to some English/Scottish country side and reside in this dwelling/house. The neighbours start to go crazy and ransack the house (burning it down I think). The movie must have been made in the 70's (give or take a decade).



The real reason I'm trying to identify this movie is because I'm trying to find the name of a particular actress who I think stared in this movie. She has blonde hair and played in mostly thrillers/dramas.



Any help will be most appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the movie is Straw Dogs(1971), starring Susan George, the blonde actress, and Dustin Hoffman. The movie was directed by Sam Peckinpah. It's available commercially at amazon.
