Film I saw back in 1997

Hello all members of Britmovie



My question is that back in '97 I saw a film on my cricket tour to London and Birmingham. There I saw a film on SKY Movies but I am unable to remember the name. the story is about a couple who strive to make their ends meet, but due to circumstances the husband commits suicide and the wife then becomes a part time tutor for a high school student. i never got to finish the film as i was busy with my cricket schedule.



Please can anyone tell me the name so i can purchase the film.
