When I was a young kid I remember a midnight movie that was broadcast on ITV in 1973. I wouldn't have normally been allowed to watch such a late night movie but my gran had died that night so my brother I stay up and watched this film.

Aain it's another black and white horror film from the fifties in which a young couple break down just outside a deserted house.

The couple then were allowed to stay at the house which appeared to on the surface to be haunted. But I vividly remember the end of the film because it turned out to be the old woman who used to live there who everybody had assumed to have left years before but was in fact hiding behind a hidden wall.
