Rocket to the Moon (1967) *solved*

I may be mixing up movies here and if I am I'd like to know both titles.... I recall seeing a film many years ago (1960's vintage) where a rocket was being hauled by a traction engine to Wales I think. I have a feeling it may be 'The Mouse on the Moon'?

The other scene I'm trying to track down was explosives being tested on a beach somehwere with usual comical consequnces (theme I recall similar to those magnificent men in their flying machines - turn of the century era.



May be both from the same film but appreciate any steers.
