    I'am trying to remember a anti war film made in b&W in the 30's



    It was about a injuried soldier who lost his face eyeslight, hearing etc all his limbs and was keep alive in hospitial room in the end was able to commicate by morse code.



    Does anyone know the name thank you

    Sounds like Johnny Got his Gun - the book is 1930s though the film isn't.

    Agree with the Captain, whilst the film was made in the early 70's the vast majority of it is in b & w.



    IIRC Dalton Trumbo directed from his own novel.

    Thanks your right i've been looking in all the 1930's film sections and british films as well, hence why I missed it and could not find it.
