Long, long, Ago

Hello everyone! I'm brand new to this site, so may be in the wrong spot. But, I'm really, really trying to find some answers about a film I saw many years ago (maybe the 50's, on television) that had the song "Long, Long, Ago" as it's theme song. I don't remember the movie all that well, although I think it was war time in Britain, involved a young boy who was separated from his family, and he appeared in a pouring rain storm at this house. Pretty vague, I know! I also may be wrong in most of the details except the song.
