Hi Folks.



I'm new to this site but would like to find the title to a British film, I think made in the fifties.

A jealous husband locks his wife's boyfriend in the cellar of a derelict building with the intention of killing him. He gradually , (over several weeks), fills a bath with acid in order to dispose of the body but the "captive" uses a dog to pull out the plug.

I'm not sure whether it was a James Mason film.

Black and white, I think.

Boyfriend was American or Canadian. Escapes finally.
