I think this may be from My Learned Friend (1943), which starred Will Hay.

Hallo everybody
First post to you all.
Always thought Brit. films were and are the best as does my hubby. So chatting to like minded people will be enjoyable.
I know there must be a lot of knowledgable people out there so can anybody tell me from what film this dialogue came.
"he found his ears in Houndsditch and his nose in Kensington Gore"
My husband swears it was a comedy from the 1930's but then he may be wrong. He remembers that it was said in a cockney accent
Hoping someone can help.

Yes, it says so in Leslie Halliwell's film guide Halliwell's Harvest: A Further Choice of Entertainment Movies from the Golden Age. It is said by the character Safety Wilson, who was played by Charles Victor.

Thank you very much.
My husband says that rings a bell.
We are now going to purchase the DVD which is coming out in April.
