I'm trying to remember the name of a 70's/80's actress whose surname, I think, was Jones who became an MP after her acting career. She was in a very highly regarded British film about a Liverpool family some years in the past (wartime?) through the eyes of a young boy. If I could find her full name I will find the film...and vice versa.
