Default Unanswered: Film Id? Set in London. Scene on Houseboat.

Can't remember much.

Late 60s/Early 70s. Probably set in London. Think it was a thriller. Has a
scene on a houseboat (possibly near the end). And a lot of cars in a big
green field at some stage - some sort of festival?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Crossplot with Roger Moore? Roger's bird hides out in a houseboat and there's a scene at a horse racing event.

Bats.

Only other film I can think of with a houseboat scene is "Otley" with Tom Courtenay made in 1968.

Ah Yes, the Soviet Union. All them wheatfields and ballet in the evenings

Or, dare I say...that Richard Widmark vehicle Dark City or something, with I think Googie Withers? That had a finale on a house boat...I think?

CROSSPLOT ends up at some state event in a field, with horse artillery ready to fire a gun salute which will be used to mask the shooting of a visiting African dignitary. The gun is concealed in the false lens of a TV camera, if that helps ring any further bells...

"Chance Meeting" 1960 with Hardy Kruger and Stanley Baker takes place in a houseboat - can't place a scene with the cars though.

Night & the City does indeed end up by the Thames, but I don't think there's a houseboat involved, and certainly no cars in a field.
