Hi



Can anyone name a film which I believe was mainly set in Holland or Belgium and involved the seduction of a young girl for some nefarious purpose (drugs perhaps), involves a sports car and culminates if I remember rightly in a circular chase some where in the hills. Sorry to be so vague, I think it was a seventies film.

Is it a European film? Maybe the Dutch original of The Vanishing?

Thanks for the suggestions but having looked at the plots for these films they are not what I am thinking of. I have remembered that the heroine was from a number of actresses of the young slender variety. Hope this helps. The sports car was definitely a major prop in the film, did it contain drugs or ahhh was it Explosives. I believe it ended in a big bang!

I think this may be Umberto Lenzi's 1970 giallo A QUIET PLACE TO KILL aka PARANOIA starring Carroll Baker.

Thanks but again I don't think this is it. The actress if I remember correctly was an English? girl/woman rather in the vein of a young Julie Christie but of the seventies. I think of names like Charlotte Rampling but cant seem to tie anything up.

Not it I am afraid but it makes it all worthwhile because with everyone's help I have picked up on some interesting films to look out for!

Maybe Don Sharp's 1969 A TASTE OF EXCITEMENT starring Eva Renzi - though it's too long since I saw it to remember much about it - or Anatole Litvak's 1970 THE LADY IN THE CAR WITH GLASSES AND A GUN starring Samantha Eggar?

I think its the Samantha Eggar film. I will try to get hold of a copy to be certain.
