TV drama - 2 young RAF officers murdered in an Asian bar

Anyone remember this? Set in the 50s or 60s I think, I recall a young RAF officer choosing to be posted to the far east, looked like the Phillipines or somewhere (no conflict going on). They are playing cards in a seedy bar and ond is poisoned whilst his mate is dragged behind some curtains presumably to have his throat cut.



I recall a scene where he is in a bunk with his stunning girlfriend and breaking the news, and her being upset and getting out starkers. Couldn't work out what the attraction was.....busty brunette....sweaty Asian hellhole? No contest?



First thoughts were of something with Reece Dinsdale in it, but now realise that was "First Flight", very similar in style but set in the 80s.

Hi, thanks for the reply. No I think it was made in the late 80s/early 90s, possibly TV only drama.

There was a UK TV series in 1982 called Squadron, some of which was set in the Middle East. Not sure if this is what you remember - definitely seems to be the contemporary RAF rather than a historical setting.
