need help identifying film/show

When i was back at primary school (some 17 years ago) I can remember we watched this film/show which was obviously some sort of educational PG thing, but I can remember it and I know i enjoyed it.



Basically, a group of people (possibly a group of school kids) visit this castle which is supposedly haunted by ghosts (mainly a white knight on a horse). Anyway, theres a group of men staying at the castle and plan to take artifacts/antiques from the castle.



anyway, the last bit i remember vividly is the ending. the men are trying to escape (being chased by various people i think) and as they escape via their car they are speeding towards the castle gates when suddenly this white knight on the horse appears round the corner to this loud booming music causing the guys to crash or stop.



Thats what i can remember of it..but it was 17 years ago and i was..pobably about 6 or 7 at the time.
