I wonder whether anyone could tell me the name of a black and white comedy, probably late 1940s, possibly Ealing, set in a large country house..........the main strand I remember is of an imperious and quite batty Great Aunt, who presided over the household from her sedan chair on the first-floor landing, and in this contraption imagined that she was touring the world.
Any ideas would be most appreciated. Pamela

Here is the cast list at the IMDB:
Treasure Hunt (1952)
And the film poster showing Martita Hunt leaning out of the sedan chair!

It's definitely Treasure Hunt - Martita Hunt plays a batty old lady who hasn't left the house since being jilted on her wedding day 30 years earlier. Because who else were they going to ask?
