can you name this for me?



A blonde girl is in a big house (job interview maybe?) and says she's left her baby outside. The baby goes missing and she becomes increasingly frantic. Her blonde brother joins the search but then there are questions about the girl's sanity, about whether there really is a baby at all and also is the brother raelly helping ?



Any ideas? I've only seen half of this film so don't know how it turns out. The brother seemed a bit sinister.

I recall seeing this Film on TV several years ago, I did see it until the end and I recall Keir Dullea sitting on a Children's Playground Swing but I became so confused by the twisting plot I can't recall if a Baby is found or ever even existed.........could someone inform me of the ending please?

I don't know if we should give away the ending, but I liked the last line as spoken by Laurence Olivier. This is probably my favourite performance of his, curiously, playing Inspector Newhouse. A good film, which I haven't seen for a long time.
