Hello.

I am trying to identify the name of a British film that I saw only once many years ago. I can't remember much about the film apart from the following vague memories.

I think the film dates from the late '70s or early '80s.
The film is mostly set in a very large grand house with extensive grounds located somewhere in the English countryside. There were stables and horses.
The main female character is a young woman, late teens or early twenties. She is blind.
I think the large house belongs to her parents.
The girl has a boyfriend. He is not blind.
The girl returns to the house after having been out (maybe with the horses?)
She expects people to be at home but is unable to hear any voices or hear any signs of anybody being present (remember she is blind)
She can't hear anybody because all the occupants of the house are dead, having been murdered by an intruder. She is not at first aware of any of this.
The intruder is still in the house.
There is a scene where the girl takes a bath.
Eventually the girl becomes aware of the intruder's presence and there follows struggles, fights, chases etc.
The boyfriend returns to the house and there is more fighting, chasing, drama etc.

That's about as much as I can remember!

Hope somebody out there can help. Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards.

Hello smudge.

Thanks for the info. It is indeed "Blind Terror" although it seems it also went under the name of "See No Evil"

I've managed to track down a dvd release and have ordered it from an online retailer for £4.99 delivered. Bargain!

Thanks again!

Its also known as 'See No Evil' and on DVD under that title. The dumbed down titles used in the USA usually overrule cleverer original titles in the DVD market (even UK region 2)... (poor 'The Wisdom of Crocodiles')

Amazon link

PlayDotCom also have it listed, but say its out of stock at present.

You're welcome - many of our contemporaries here knew that too (obviously) so it's just down to the timing. Glad to help and hope you like the forum.

Cheers,
