Default Oh, Mr Porter!
70th Anniversary London Screening

Sunday October 21st at 2pm at the Ritzy Cinema, Brixton
Tickets £6.50 and concessions £4.50. Nearest tube: Brixton
Oh, Mr.Porter had it's trade showing on October 5th 1937 and was first shown to the public on October 31st at the Gaumont Haymarket, London.The film will be introduced by Graham Rinaldi and the screening will also include a 12 minute work in progress extract from "Next Train's Gone -T he Making of Oh, Mr Porter" which includes interviews with members of the crew: Roy Baker, Tony Baker, Leslie Gilliat and the late Val Guest

A brilliant film, one of my faves. Wishing you all the best for a very successful day. It's a shame that the good people of the Philippines do not know of such comic legends. One day hopefully.

First I've heard of this, is it a fan project or work-in-progress for a dvd extra?

Thanks Steve, very enjoyable, lets hope more little snippets about our fave movies can be shown this way. It's such a shame that the great sites are torn down and forgotten about. One can only look back and enjoy. More of the same please.

As I mentioned some time ago on another thread, a television series that explores the locations of famous British films is long overdue.
With all sorts of reality programs going to air, why not a fun doco series in the vein of the YouTube clip above? Maybe hosted by someone like Michael Palin.
Apart from seeking out the film locations the program could also include info on the making of the film including archive footage and long forgotten interviews with the stars.

I reckon there would be an excellent reaction to such a series.

well steve what cracking good bit of film from one big will hay fan to another.do you have all his films. i have them all on dvd and vidio lets see more of you travels around the will hay set can you find the road the headless horseman rod down that would be a good one to find.top banana
