Oops!

Can a moderator change that, please?

I knew what the date was and have seen an unofficial list of guests and showings. I was looking at that page with last year's date as a heading and underneath it said 7th so that's how I confused it.

I just wondered when they were going to put up anything official. The ticket office opened on 1 April for last year's.

Still nothing to be found and no answer from the NMM so I'll give it a miss.

Afternoon - sorry I'd missed this conversation!

The Fantastic Films weekend is on again between the 13th and 15th of June. The full ticket pass prices haven't been confirmed yet, but the films look set to include:

American Werewolf in London (70mm)
Poltergeist (70mm)
The Thing (70mm)
Terminator 2 (70mm)
I am Legend IMAX

Grindhouse Uncut
Dracula (1958) - the digital remastered version
Black Christmas
Vampire Diary
Dr Phibes (1971) with an appearance from director (Robert Fuest) and (Valli Kemp)
"Play for Today" Z for Zachariah (1984)
Schalcken the Painter (1979) (TV)
Spine Tingler! The William Castle Story

There will also be the usual Hammer Horror films (I'm getting a list of those soon) along with a Phil Leakey and Roy Ashton exhibition, and appearances from Piers Haggard (Venom, various Plays for Today and Blood on Satan’s Claw, which we'll also be showing), and Peter Duffell.

Details are subject to change but I'll have the full line-up within the next week or so and I'll post it up then. Any questions post them or PM me (so I don't forget!) and if you're interested, there's a Facebook event page up now:

Thanks - to be honest, I'm only really interested when AAWIL is on and Jenny appearing.

Pity there seems to be a problem with Facebook as it won't let me signup on either computer.

Ah yes, good point ;)

OK, I have no confirmation on Jenny turning up to chat about the movie. Yet.

Tickets going fast, if you want to be in with a chance of coming along, the tickets are available via the FFW website now.

You probably won't until almost the last minute as she still doesn't know herself if her filming schedule will allow her to attend.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed

We viewed a screener of SPINE TINGLER: THE WILLIAM CASTLE STORY at a movie party I hosted and it went over extremely well. Hugely entertaining and worth seeing.
