Default Virginia McKenna and Leslie Phillips in Bath

In Person - Virginia McKenna and Leslie Phillips with Simon Relph

Bath: 4th February

Little Theatre Cinema - Bath

For your chance to hobnob with the stars on Wednesday 4 February over
a glass of bubbly and a piece of Little Theatre Cinema birthday cake,
buy a ticket to the gala reception being held for Virginia McKenna and
Leslie Phillips.

Meet these two British cinema legends from 6.00pm at an elegant soirée
in the Abbey Church House, just next door to the cinema, before
sitting back and enjoying THE SMALLEST SHOW ON EARTH (U) at the Little
at 7.30pm.

The evening, which is in aid of our refurbishment fund, will be
crowned by a discussion with Virginia and Leslie, hosted by film-maker
Simon Relph.

Tickets are only £25 (£22 concessions and £20 Members) and will be
available from Friday 23 January from the Box Office on 01225 330 817.
Tickets for just the film without the hobnobbing are also available.

THE SMALLEST SHOW ON EARTH is such a gloriously charming film- and wonderfully quaint despite the big star nmaes

I hear the Union Jack still remains.I see Namijira in custody
and I see Truganini's in chains.

So did I! I thought it was some new geriatric farce or porno film!

I love The Smallest Show On Earth; for me, it was one of Peter Sellars' best roles and I'm a great fan of Francis De Wolff - I used to serve him in the local village store in Newick where he lived; he was a lovely man.

DS x.

This event is sold out. The box office has a list if anyone wishes to be on it for returned tickets.

I met Mr Phillips on the train today, from Bath to London. He was absolutely charming and me, full of admiration for him (unbeknown about last night's event in Bath), said the Smallest Show on Earth was a favourite film of mine. He explained about the success of the Bath event. He said Margaret Rutherford (who starred in the film) was quite unique and we will likely never see another actress like her.

He was a delight to speak with, and is truly one of the Britsh classics, in my humble opinion. Stan
