Default Granada Tooting Organ

£10 is a bit steep, but it's all in a good cause and I will certainly try to get there. Thanks for the tip. I heard the organ there being played, but not rising, during one of the first Heritage Weekends that take place around September each year. However, after that first open day, there has never been another. Good news to hear that some attention is being paid to this magnificent installation.

It has cost an awful lot of money to restore this marvellous organ and i have to say that ten pounds is a small price to pay.You can buy your ticket for nine pounds by prebooking with the American Theatre Organ Society.Their details are on the Web.

Just come back from the concert. It was a fantastic event.Everyone sat in the circle and i would reckon that there were around 750 people present. The concert was recorded by the BBC and it will be broadcast in the "Organist Entertains" weekly series very shortly. If you couldnt make it then you should try to catch it.I understand that there is another concert in June.Look at the ATOS website for further details.

I recently attended a concert by len Rawle. He told us that the news of the organ at the Gala Tooting is not good.A lot of damage has been caused by the floods.Bad news especially with the State Kilburn having closed at the weekend.
