Default Walter Lassally at BFI Southbank

On September 5 the BFI Southbank is screening the very rare ANOTHER SKY (1956), the only film directed by Gavin Lambert, ex-editor of Sight and Sound and screenwriter. Shot entirely on location in Morocco, the film will be introduced onstage by its cinematographer Walter Lassally.

Has anyone got any information on this film?

I cannot see any mention of this title in ANY of my British cinema reference books, including, very surprisingly, Quinlan's British Sound Films. Any reason for it's omission?

IMDB's synopsis is brief.

Middle eastern romance about a lonely British woman who falls for a Moroccan musician. Cultural and linguistic barriers soon intervene on the relationship, however, and the musician disappears into the desert. The core of the film is the woman's search for him and the gradual dissipation of enthusiasm, money and hope.
