I just caught the end of PM on Radio 4 and they seemed to be doing an obit for David Hatch with John Cleese saying what a nice chap he was.

Sorry Steve, the only David Hatch I recall died in June, he did "Just A Minute". Enlighten us matey.
Just adding this bit Steve....or are you just saying about the radio piece? (Doh!).

He died earlier in the year and this was his memorial service.
