    Other than Wiki and trawling the web, does anyone know where I might learm more about Doris Zinkeisen ? Costume Designer, stage designer, painter, writer and girl about town.

    Which one Steve ? Here in NYC she appears to be a mere speck on the horizon, with "Showboat" as her only U.S, film production credit (as far as I know).

    Ah, I thought you were in the UK. What are the public libraries like in the big apple?
    Find a friendly and knowledgeable librarian and ask for their help. They will direct you to the best reference books and other resources

    Libraries aren't bad here in NYC at all and I'm close to Lincoln Center Library For The Performing Arts, I'll give it a whirl. They're very helpful but usually lacking in a Non U.S. stuff.
