Sorry, guys, it seems that I have another death to report.
Ira Levin, author of the play "DEATH TRAP" later made into the film starring Michael Caine and Laurence Olivier has died on Tuesday, aged 78, so reports his agent. I believe he wrote some other well known plays too. Was it "The Boys From Brazil?"

I thought Boys from Brazil was an excellent thriller, with both Olivier and Peck in sound form. I agree with Moor Larkin,Levin was a very imaginative writer.
RIP Ira. Ta Ta Marky B ![]()

Stepford Wives is a chilling idea, I enjoyed the film too. Am I in a minority, 'cos I actually prefer Deathtrap to Sleuth.
RIP.

Deathtrap was superior in my opinion. I thought it worked extremely well, I thought Sleuth was overated mainly because of Larry. For some reason I thought that his character in the film was overshadowed by Larry love of his own acting skills. |
