We currently have the Jamie Oliver series "Jamie at Home" on one of our TV channels here in NZ and in the credits I noticed that the Cameraman was Luke Cardiff. Is Luke is related to Jack Cardiff?

AFAIK Jack's just got 4 sons, John, Rodney, Peter and Mason.

Luke Cardiff's name has been spotted before but I don't think he's related - even though he filmed a documentary about The Prince and the Showgirl where Jack was interviewed.

Of course he might be a nephew or even a grandson.

I happened to work with Luke for a day when he came north to do some shooting a few years ago.
I asked him if he was related to Jack. The answer was a definite no.
