Yes thats correct, Disley died on June 4th. A great man both professionally and personally, he is greatly missed by all who knew him.

For those of us who are not familiar with those behind the camera, what did the late gentleman do? Designer; set dresser, etc?

Good morning boys.

I've resurrected Disley's personal website that we thought was lost forever. It is still under reconstruction but makes very interesting reading even now.

Thank goodness you found it. Disley was a good friend, and a great set designer.

As you've no doubt seen my comments on the website, I've managed to ressurect all of the text but only a few of the photos that were originally on his website.

I'll be making that section live very soon and I do hope oneday to be able to get the originals back from Diz's niece so I can make it all 100% again.

Although he was a cantakerous old bugger he deserves not to be forgotten. I worked with him at The Players' for a good few years. I've recently discovered he had written about the history of the Players' so I'm hoping to include that too sometime soon.
