For admirers of the work of Michael Powell (& Emeric Pressburger) ...

ArtWorks: Michael Powell
The Radio Times says:
Not a moment is wasted in this celebration of film director Michael Powell (first seen on BBC Scotland). Archive interviews with Powell and scriptwriter Emeric Pressburger illuminate clips from The Red Shoes and other standout works to make this a movie buff's delight. With heavyweight evidence from Martin Scorsese and Alan Parker, it makes a powerful case for Powell as Britain's greatest ever film director.
The director, Simon Pitts, told us:
... it's a celebration of the P&P work by different film-makers. Featured are Scorsese, Thelma & Andrew Macdonald (of course) as well as Bertrand Tavernier, Alan Parker, Stephen Frears, Baz Luhrmann, Nic Roeg, George Romero as well as some archive material which will be familiar to many enthusiasts.
It's an affectionate look back and I hope that viewers find it appropriate and enjoyable.
