Harbottle, you know I didn't mean that specific event. And who was selling arms to Iraq at the time Kurds were being gassed? And did your '0' key get stuck there?

And on the subject of Kes, do you mean to say you did not even enjoy Brian Glover's moment of Glory?

That was great comedy - and so true to life.
But the one I love is when Mr Farthing (Colin Welland) goes to see Billy fly the kestrel to the lure and then when they talk in the hut afterwards. "Yer can't tame an 'awk"

I think you are confusing me with Hackett. I think he makes a good point though.

As for Kes I remember like it was yesterday being taken to the pictures to "enjoy" that one

Whoosp, my mistake.

Another memorable moment in the film is the scene where the kids are being warned that if they do not do well in school, they'll end up with a job down the pit. How times have changed.
