No wonder I love this TV channel.
Love the shoes
I won't do the usual and ask how on earth someone is meant to walk in those.
If you wear shoes like that you're not expected to walk much

Back on topic ...

Freddie filmed Scorsese's Cape Fear (1991).
Thelma Schoonmaker tells me that Freddie's widow Pam is asking for donations to the scholarship fund in Freddie's name at the National Film School: Freddie Francis scholarship, National Film and Television School, Station Road, Beaconsfield, Bucks. HP9 1LG, UK

Or donation to Stroke Association through Andrew Holmes & Son, 92 Whitton Road, Hounslow, Middlesex. T3 UK. They are arranging the funeral. Phone for them is 208 572 3277.

Steve

Very good posting-let us not forget the beautifully photographed NIGHTMARE from (1963) with Moira Redmond. The black and white setups are outstanding including; Outdoor scenes shot in deep snow, during the freezing British winter of (1962-63). Asylum corridor scenes dimly and gloomily lit. Sinister Ghost Woman shot in half light.Freddie directed this little seen suspenser and am sure would have had a say in the many set-ups and close-up images. Really beautifully photographed!]
