Default RIP Bob Clark

Just read on IMDB that the Canadian director Bob Clark (67) has been killed in a car crash along with his 22yr old son. Bob made the wonderful Sherlock Holmes film 'Murder by Decree' with Christopher Plummer and James Mason in the 70s and the classic chiller 'Black Christmas' with Olivia Hussey. Apparently the other driver did not have a driving license and was 'under the influence'. So sad ...

Also the first two PORKY'S films, and A CHRISTMAS STORY.

Very sad. 'Murder by Decree' was absolutely brilliant and when I introduced it to a friend he couldn't believe how much 'From Hell' had ripped off from it.

I'd forgotten about Christmas Story .... I am glad somebody else noticed the similarities between Murder byDecree and From Hell .... the earlier version was by far the superior film
