Does anyone know anything about Joanna Harwood? She co-wrote the screenplay for DR. NO, and is credited for the adaptation of FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE. She also worked for Eon on CALL ME BWANA, so she was obviously in favor there for a while. But then not much. Always curious about these names that rise prominently only to disappear...

There's another connection between From Russia With Love and Call Me Bwana as I recall. Yes, this extract from the latter's IMDB page describes it better than I can:

A poster for this film is featured in From Russia With Love (1963). It shows an Anita Ekberg head shot on the side of a building when 007 and Ali Kerim Bey are about to assassinate Krilencu. A window opens (appearing to be Ekberg's mouth) and Krilencu exits the building on a rope and is shot. After the assasination, 007 makes one of his inimitable as he says "She should have kept her mouth shut". Both films were from United Artists.

I remember that line. Just looked for the poster at MovieGoods but it's not there. Anyone got a capture of that moment?

Great stuff, Wearysloth. Good to see some behind-the-scenes people getting some attention.

A pity your capture isn't clearer but that scene is very vivid in my memory.

Can the thread title be changed to include an H in Johanna's name, please?

How about this for a Blast from the Past, wearysloth? I remember this post. Unfortunately, not only was your link ruined but my retyping of the URL has revealed that the clip has been removed as well:

I guess it was from one of the James Bond DVDs, possibly From Russia with Love as I watched Dr. No a couple of months ago.
