The plot being a gang of crooks/spivs/n'eer do wells being caught at the start of the film and the Magistrate offereing them prison or conscription into the army. As such, they choose the army and redeem themselves. I don't think it was a crazy gang film, but it was of that ilk. Anyway, the film is about two young-ish men on a quest to 'pull' women, but not with much success. In his frustration one of the characters notably masturbates to porn on his TV only to start crying as he climaxes. He eventually finds a woman whom he starts a sexual relationship with, but she is too rough in bed and he ends up with scratches all over his body, and in the end he has to split with her as he cannot take it. His friend meanwhile still can't pull, so he comes up with the idea of visiting a club where older women frequent. There's a moment where the landlord serves the man in a relationship with a pint and tells him he knows what he's up to and finds it disgusting.

While these highlights make this sound like quite a sordid film, it's really rather a gritty British affair typical of the era, following Trainspotting and not perhaps as sexually graphic as it sounds.

The film is black and white (probably 1940s) and i don't know if it is UK or US.
It is set during the war and has something to do with a spy going into a Nazi retreat up on a mountain (a bit like Hitler's retreat).

The ending (if from the same film...) has the protagonist and antagonist having a fight to the death outdoors near the entrance of a cave - but as i say, very hazy memory and this may be from a different black and white WWII spy film.
