Hi Mark, not so sure about that, I'm tending to go with Paul Emmett's theory that the building is the V&A and the two towers of the Natural History Museum next to it and that certainly fits,if we agree on that the housing estate would be located Chelsea/Fulham Road and I'm already visualising some estates around the Brompton Cross area or beyond, ie further South towards Battersea, Embankment area.

On this latter photo however, the museums appear to be somewhat nearer than in the film, which suggests that the flats in the film are a bit further away, on the other side of the river.
I agree with that theory,it narrows the area down quite a bit, camera lenses can alter perspective ,a wide angle lens can make objects in the distance look further away than they are so might be worth bearing that in mind too.

Yes, that looks more like it, all we need now is someone to walk around the utility buiulding and see if the 'Nightingale house' sineage is still there, probably not I reckon.

Mark O, there is NO need for that...
    1. The sign of the estate "Nightingale House" is definitely a fictitious.
    2. The real name of the estate is "Wiltshire Close".
    3. The "Wiltshire Close" estate consists of 214 flats in total.
    4. There are some alterations of the facade made in the recent years.

This was indeed Wiltshire Close. I grew up there and remember waking up on a Sunday? morning to find Rosemoor Street filled with trucks and a dolly crane filming.
