This is supposedly the exterior of gambling club and perhaps the sign is real. Sadly as the car goes up the street the scene dissolves rather quickly but the location is the City of Westminster judging from the colour scheme on the lamp post. By the way the street dissolving into the scene is Curzon Street looking east.

It looks like Chesterfield Gardens, a turning off of Curzon Street.

Alan you are spot on, once again. Great work.

Here are some houses from Villain.

The next two are the same location.

The second one is Hatchlands Park. I think Alan might knows the others.

Edit: Thought I'd seen some of these before, there's another thread for Villain here

Thank you Mariocki for the Hatchlands Park identification and thanks too for pointing out the other Villain thread. If I'd noticed the thread earlier I'd have saved myself a lot of time sussing out site which is now the New Covent Garden. Thanks.

I thought that Villain was one of those films where everything had been found, but apparently not.
The fifth picture is the corner of Cunnington Street and Rothschild Road, Acton.

Yes, I thought we'd had a thread either here or on The Sweeney forum where they'd all been identified but apparently not.

Dakins Mum's house (Photo 1 on post 3) still not found - I thought maybe somewhere in Brighton on the other thread but nothing confirmed. Mind you Google streetview wasn't covering much of Brighton last time I searched.

The Lyon/Mellors house still remains the Grail.

The last picture is Arundel Gardens, Notting Hill. I recognised the buildings in the background, in Lansdowne Road, having once identified them from an episode of Return Of The Saint.

Many thanks once again, twice again!, to AlanF.

It looks there are lots of clues in this sequence:-
A shop called 'Cy's'? opposite a Westminster Bank.

    Lots of names here.

And at the right a small British Railways sign pointing to a station.

    BR sign at left.

And a crossed something sign at right.

Indeed it is - strange location, maybe library stock from something else?

    https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=hig...338.92,,0,0.18

John Colliers is now Evans and Cy's is a Pizza Hut

I must admit that I frequently glance at the IMDB and I am certain that the location listings were nowhere near as thorough just a few days ago when I last looked. Anyway, thanks to AlanF and harryshand. I notice that the The Cross Keys has survived in Bedford.

That'd be because many people, including those who read or contribute to threads here, contribute to the IMDb

Well I suppose these could show one location for they both look like 19th century Gothic piles. They are obviously standing-in for the Houses of Parliament.
