THE BLISS OF MRS BLOSSOM…Joseph McGrath…

    Cast Inc…Richard Attenborough…James Booth…

Filmed for a week at Alexandra Palace North London dressed as a fireman.

Lots of girls on Kirby wires hoisted up in the air as their bra’s inflated.

A young Bob Monkhouse looking very hippy. (It was 68)

The exterior shots of Mr & Mrs Blossom's house were filmed at my grandparents' house in Putney. The interior was a set at Twickenham film studios.

This film is among the first British films I watched on TV in former Yugoslavia in the early 1980s, when I was a small boy. I haven't seen it since those days.

I first saw this thread thanks to the post #6 by DocRobertPepper in 24 October 2010 (refreshing this old thread).
Then I tried to discover the exterior location of Mrs Blossom's house in Putney, but I had no screengrabs.
Unfortunately, in YouTube there was no scene for this film featuring the house.

I found only in the web these two PDF files containing a description of the house:

Creating Space: Production Designer Assheton Gorton (page 365):
The exterior you used for The Bliss of Mrs Blossom's house was very eccentric - an Arts and Crafts house with a cupola.
That was in Putney. I needed a house and that was the only one that kind of matched what I wanted to do. It was off the Upper Richmond Road.

Consumerism, the Swinging Sixties and Assheton Gorton (page 108):
Gorton intuitively selected an Edwardian style chalet bungalow off the Upper Richmond Road, near Barnes in Putney for external shots. The elevation with its clash of architectural elements, where a gable and curved bay is topped by a dormer and cupola, evokes the eclectic mix and match of excesses inside Mrs Blossom's house and life.

The address of Mrs Blossom's house is:
    115 Howards Lane
    Putney
    SW15 6NZ

Typically, only the small area around this house, for Howards Lane and Malbrook Road, (where is the 'T' junction) is not covered by Google Maps Street View.
In this case I think is done intentionally.
Luckily, this house is on 'T' junction, where is visible from Malbrook Road.
I clicked twice on 'Zoom In' button and I did best I could to get this now shot from Google Maps Street View.

115 Howards Lane, Putney - Google Maps Street View

    THEN and NOW picture:
