The Michael Caine film, "Kidnapped" did indeed have some scenes filmed in the picturesque village of Culross, pronounced "Cooruss" for anyone thinking of asking directions there while in Scotland! Its near Stirling where a fair amount of filming took place as well for "Kidnapped" especially at the famous castle. The Walt Disney version with Peter Finch is pretty good and unusually for a Disney film which are often entirely shot in Hollywood, it features many authentic locations in the Highlands of Scotland including Glen Coe.
