Bet you never thought you'd come across that thread heading

One of the strangest things, in Bargain Hunt today where the chap goes off to a stately home and describes a piece of interest there were two pieces of background music.

The first at 23mins. 07 was John Barry's Midnight Cowboy.

The second piece at 24mins 25 sounded as it was another John Barry piece but I couldn't recognise it, if anybody can enlighten me many thanks.

I should imagine the link will be ok for 4/5 days.

Last weekend I heard a song on local radio by Guy Mitchell called 'Ninety Nine Years (Dead or alive)' and the brass intro was so like the James Bond Theme that the DJ commented on the similarity. The song came from a 1961 album by Guy. I wonder if John Barry was a fan of Guy?

When I read the title I thought some rare composition, sheet music or document has been sold at auction after being found on a car boot.

Then I wondered if they'd done a celebrity special.

Sorry, have been away and caught this too late - that episode has gone. If I happen to catch a repeat at some stage I'm confident I will be able to identify it.
