    According to Wikipedia:

"Edward Ward wrote the score. The film has many elements of a musical, with lengthy opera sequences, and has been criticized for being more musical than horrific. For the opera sequences, Ward adapted music from Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 as well as using themes by Chopin. He also composed an original theme, Lullaby of the Bells, which was heard in the film as the Phantom's piano concerto."

For the film, I believe Edward Ward also adapted Act III of "Marta" by Friedrich von Flotow.

    Try here:

“The Porterlied” (“Lasst Mich Euch Fragen”-Plunkett’s aria) (Eddy and male chorus) - from
the opera Martha, music by Friedrich von Flotow, special libretto by George Waggner, translated into French by William von Wymetal (possibly due to anti-German sentiment,
    INTO:
Third act finale of Martha (“Mag der Himmel Euch Verbegen”) (Tudor Williams, male
    chorus) - credits as above
“Lullaby of the Bells” (violin solo) - music by Edward Ward, lyrics by George Waggner
“Lullaby of the Bells” reprise as piano concerto.
“Lullaby of the Bells” reprise (Susanna Foster and Eddy)
Amour et Gloire, an opera contrived from Frédéric Chopin themes with French lyrics by
    William von Wymetal
    “Grand Polonaise” (chorus)
“Nocturne in E Flat” and “Waltz in C Minor” (Eddy and Jane Farrar, possibly dubbed by Francia White, with chorus
Le Prince de Caucasie, an opera contrived from the Fourth Symphony of Peter Ilich
Tchaikovsky, English libretto by George Waggner, Russian translation by Max
    Rabinowitz.
Opening chorus (chorus, tenor, and bass-baritone, possibly Tudor Williams)
    Duet (Eddy and Nicki Andre)

    Hi guys
just to say i bought martha off amazon and althought the opera is very good, the songs from "phantom"
are quite short - the finale of act three ( which is a lovely peice) is dissapointing.
however ,rossini must have liked it,hense his saying to his orchestra.."lets have a stab at marta "
