To mark the 50th anniversary of Vaughan Williams' death, Radio 3 begins a series of the complete cycle of his symphonies, complemented by the BBC's orchestras and singers performing music by friends, pupils and contemporaries from Britain, Europe and America.Vaughan Williams: Symphony No 1 (Sea Symphony). Amanda Roocroft (soprano), Thomas Hampson (bass), BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Chorus/Andrew Davis.

It will feature at some time his seventh symphony, Antarctica, though am unsure when this will be. Check the times and the web site daily.
