Most definitely ..... a real triumph for Network. I wonder why they chose MIAS?

I'm glad they did.

Default Mine just arrived...

Just got my copy of the 5 disc boxset today. Beautifully packaged, going to take me weeks to digest. Still only on disc one - be interested to know what other people's highlights are? As it is, 12 tracks in and I feel the urge to wear something corduroy, smoke like a Turk and get thrown out of a moving car (in Manchester). Or maybe do some weird dancing down a basement discotheque. Or save Rodney Bewes from killing himself...

Track 37 from All That Glitters on disc 1 is my favourite of the whole series although I associate it more with Property Of A Gentleman but disc 3 is probably the strongest overall, especially tracks 28, 38, 39, 41 and 46. A fantastic release.

You know I nearly added "Er, then again" but thought Rodney Bewes fans may take offence. That's if there are any Rodney Bewes fans?

Well, 5 good things about Rodney Bewes:

1. The Bridge (MIAS)
2. Dear Mother Love Albert theme tune
3. Spring And Port Wine
4. The "screaming abdabs" line in Billy Liar
5. No Hiding Place (WHTTLL)

Still. If you were McGill, you'd shout "jump" wouldn't you?
