Default South bank show-Vaughan Williams

Hi, I did a google search for the South Bank show about Vaughan Williams and it actually directed me to a very long and interesting thread about Ken Russell on Britmovie. Does anyone know if that particular sbs is available on dvd? I remember my brother and me being bowled over by the scene of a girl playing The Lark Ascending as she walked through an orchard... I would love to see it again. MC

Hi Hugh. I've got 'O Thou Transcendent' (I was fortunate enough to watch a screening of it at the Wooburn festival last year,.. talk by Tony Palmer afterwards and I got my copy signed!) but from what I've read, the South Bank Show in question must have been made by Ken Russell

Just another stab at resurrecting this to see if anyone knows if this piece is available anywhere.
Cheers, MC
