BRITISH MUSICAL FILM SOUNDTRACKS: AS LONG AS THEY'RE HAPPY/AN ALLIGATOR NAMED DAISY (soundtracks, with Jeannie Carson, Diana Dors, Jerry Wayne and Jack Buchanan)

Musical highlights include Carson's show-stopping number My Crazy Little
Mixed-Up Heart; the luscious Diana Dors cavorting with Jack Buchanan in the
Hokey-Pokey Polka, and Buchanan's winning performance of I Don't Know
Whether To Laugh Or To Cry Over You which the debonair Buchanan pulled out
all the stops with ineffable finesse.

Jeannie Carson's next film was the delightful musical comedy An Alligator
Named Daisy, a film she co-starred with Donald Sinden and Diana Dors. The
film's screwball farce is enhanced with songs by Sam Coslow and Paddy
Roberts. They include the finger-snapping Crocodile Crawl performed by Ken
Mackintosh and his Band, and Carson's powerhouse performance of In Love For
The Very First Time.
