I can't help, but it was also broadcast as a Radio 4 programme over several years. I have a feeling that this preceded the TV shows.

Does anyone remember this BBC docu /soap on around 95 /6 produced by Nigel Farrell? The theme tune was a kind of flutey piece I'm sure has classical origins, but I can't find any info whatsoever about it.
It's been driving me mad trying to find it. The theme music just conjures up the beautiful English countryside, and for someone living abroad, it takes me back home...aahh, I can hear it now, but what is it and by whom?
Anyone help?

The flutey theme music to the Nigel Farrell TV series is called "Lumineux Cheverny" by the Raymond Guiot Group. It is now available on a Winchester Hospital Radio CD called "Music While You Watch". (May, 2010).
