For me my all time fave Movie soundtrack is 'Gladiator'.........I play it regularly and love it to death!

They made the right choice by choosing Lisa Gerard for her 'exotic' sounding vocals, 'now we are free', etc;........in fact I'm gonna put it on right now!!

Number two is 'Titanic' and 'Return to Titanic', particulary the 'take her to Sea' harmonies, plus the loud dramatic tracks around Titanic's demise, such as 'a building panic', and 'Death of Titanic'.

Can't think of anymore Movie soundtracks off the top of my head that I'm a fan of........though not so long ago I did purchase a Maureen McGovern CD, on which she sings 'We may never love like this again' from Towering Inferno, and 'Morning after' from the original Poseidon Movie.

Used to listen to The Graduate soundtrack as a kid but don't seem to have the time for much music these days.

I've always been a soundtrack buff, so there are tons in my collection (yes, even on vinyl). Anyway, here's my pick.

    Last of the Mohicans

    Patton

Star Wars (A New Hope...the original)

    2001

    Top Gun (the expanded version)

There are many others but these are the ones that come to mind.

Another vote here for On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Thrilling, Majestic and unimprovable, it never dates.

OHMSS- fantastic soundtrack and one of the best of the Bond films.

Some people will just laugh off the very suggestion that they should watch it, but they are quite happy to sit down to watch shite like The Man With The Golden Gun. I always thought the late Peter Hunt was the ultimate victim of OHMSS. Such a gifted editor and director who was more or less shunned by the industry after this film.
