'chariots of fire' soundtrack certainly is 'memorable' -its cheap casio keyboard drivel is so out of keeping with the film that i half expect to see peter stringfellow overtake eric liddell in the famous beach race scene-my god it's so tacky!! any sickos who like this kind of music should check out the incidental music to bbcs 1980 version of 'dr jekyll and mr hyde' ha ha ha-it's the worst ever!!

Zulu, Baby Elephanat Walk from Hatari, Ron Goodwin's Miss Marple theme and everything from "The Sting." Scott Joplins piano rags are wonderful pieces, my personal favourit being "Solace." Played the soundtrack frequently when I was a teenager.

Too many to list them all, but I'll do ten:

    Spellbound (Miklos Rozsa)

    OHMSS (John Barry)

    Walkabout (John Barry)

First Great Train Robbery (Jerry Goldsmith)

    North by Northwest (Bernard Herrmann)

    The Knack (John Barry)

    The Ipcress File (John Barry)

    The Family Way (McCartney/Martin)

    The Last Valley (John Barry)

    Frenzy (Ron Goodwin)

This list would probably be different tomorrow!

    "Fandango" from 1985.

Kevin Costner's first movie, directed by his (then) friend Kevin Reynolds.

    Anyone remember it?

    Fabulous soundtrack.

I agree with all the previous films mentioned. However one of my favourite musical sound tracks comes from Billy Wilder's 1970 film "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes" with a wonderful score from Miklos Rozsa using themes taken from his violin concerto of 1956.

As talking of Miklos Rosza, I just love "Moonfleet" and "Providence" sountracks, and (...in great disorder):

"Once Upon A Time In The West"/ Ennio Morricone

"Brazil"/Michael Kamen (for sung by Kate Bush)

    "The Nightmare Before Christmas"/Danny Elfman

    "Le Mépris"/Georges Delerue

    "Le Vieux Fusil"/François de Roubaix

"In The Mouth Of Madness"/John Carpenter

.....and, ice on the cake, "Sunny" sung by Robert Mitchum
