I remember seeing this film many years ago and hugely enjoying the score by Elmer Bernstein espcecially the main title song which was reprised at the end with a version by Jill Ireland. Jill was no singer but it was a lovely sentimental ballad that sounded as if it was inspired by the Irish folk tune,"The Mounatins Of Mourne."

At that time the soundrack wasnt available on l.p. but am pleased to see that it can now be puchased.

Anyone remember seeing this film. I saw a load of Bronson films duriing this period.

This was on the Western Channel in the US just a couple months ago. I enjoyed it very much. Very offbeat. I remember reading somewhere that this was Bronson's favorite collaboration with Jill Ireland.

Its one of my favourite Bronson/Ireland films, after seeing the movie I came across the novel that it was based on by Frank D Gilroy in a second hand book store.

Wow, didn't know Frank Gilroy wrote that. He also wrote one of my all-time favorite plays, "The Subject Was Roses," with Patricia Neil, Jack Albertsen and a young Martin Sheen.
